I was so sad have to let this go- this is such a fine telescope and a whole lot better than the ones you can buy in the store, plus the sturdiness of the mount would have supported my heavy premium eyepieces very nicely. But I needed to have a grab'n'go scope to accommodate all scenarios, and alas after getting the measurements from Alex, I worked out it wouldn't fit in the hand luggage compartment of a plane (as they're quite narrow), grrrrr.
Great for the kids too (which I had in mind as I have some little cousins & nieces).
Again, Alex I apologise for the inconvenience- whoever buys this is in for a fine grab'n'go scope I'm sure.
