Do you mean a telstra wireless internet thing that plugs into a USB port?
If so, my wife has one also. They only work on the original computer that it was installed on. If you change computers you have to phone the help people at telstra, wait a few hours for them to answer
and the original owner has to approve the change of computer.
I gave up and didn't bother but it can be done.
