AAIC Call for papers

A bit early but as we are discussing the conf I may as well call now.

If anyone has the urge to get up in front of a few like minded souls to present a 45 minute presentation or a 1.5 hour workshop then let me know. You can pm me or send me an email. Don't be dismayed by the duration - everyone could have done with more time at the last conf - it goes quick.

I would like to theme the conference "Astro Imaging - From Beginner to Expert" so your workshop or presentation could be on anything from setting up and using an ED80 /DSLR combo workshop to a presentation on advances in the mathematical techniques of deconvolution algorithms. Obviously I will have to balance content depending on response. I know Ken and Rogelio were impressed with our Aussie content last time so this is your chance to show 3 or 4 of the best in the world that we know what we are doing down here. I will announce who they are when I have them in concrete.

All I ask is that it is instructional so that attendees learn something for their money. Surprised me that Ken learnt something from my waffle about ionized hydrogen so as you see you don't have to be Einstein to pass on some of that stored info you have - you would be surprised.

I can offer presenters a waver of conf fees including venue meals on the day they present. Deliver a split workshop on 2 days and you get 2 days free.

I might also add that without presenters this isn't going to happen and I will be personally paying for the internationals to have a 4 day holiday and I don't like them that much - laugh.
