Resurrected ...

Just thought some of you guys might appreciate a bit of resurrected mechanical history.
There has been in my fathers family an old clock, 1860 in fact if not slightly prior. It has been in parts in my fathers and now my garage for about 100 years nearly. My stepson's father is a watchmaker and has contacts in the clock industry. I brought the whole clock upstairs a few months ago looking for SteamPunk bits and Chris spotted it. Old damaged cracked lacquer Drop Case and clunky brass movement with a few bits missing. He suggested it could be repaired and he would have a go in conjunction with his dad and grandad who is a Master clock builder and woodworker.
Here is the clock as it was before.
