Hi Brian,
I used my WO binoviewer with a 60mm Lunt to watch the transit of Venus & got great views. The WO binos come with a small screw-on barlow which slips into the eyepiece holder. I have a BF1200 blocking filter attached to the lunt & move it in & out till I find rough focus then use the fine focus knob. You do lose some brightness as the light coming through the scope is split. The sweet spot for the sun thru the lunt is around 13mm so I bought two 25mm Vixen LVs for the binos. I also bought a pair of eyeshields for the EPs to block out stray daylight. Sirius Optics sell the Field Optics Birding Eyeshields. It's so much easier to watch the sun with two eyes!
Clear Skies,
Kim
