Its made by a chap in Brisbane,who's name is David Hogan,he is very passionate about these,and has done a considerable amount of research on them.He has got a rifle barrelling machine and modified it,so they can be made with one piece of timber,most on sale are two pieces of timber.These that he makes are not mass produced.He occasionally sells some to various
shops=and they sell fast-but has no plans to give up his day job,its more a passion,than a money making enterprise.
I've had a fair bit of interest in this flute (its way under priced),and I;ll try and get time to get the macro lens out and and take some more images,for the other people asking.
The timber really is special,its the most beautiful red,his regular flutes are the sandy/light brown version of this timber,so this one is a one off.
