I had the 8" out this morning doing a bit of lunar observing. The view at 600x was so crisp that I had to double check that I didn't have a longer FL eyepiece in the focuser. Heck, I even had her at 720x for a bit, that is how good the seeing was.
Kicking myself for not downloading Uranus and Neptune finder charts...
We had fog almost all day, and already the dew is thick and there is alot of haze so I'm guessing it will fog over again soon
The 12" is out and cooling, hoping to atleast see Saturn before it fogs over again. Humidity is pretty much maxed out all over Melbourne
