I think it must have been my first trip to the movies with my father , I would have been about 6 yrs old. That was 60 years ago , I still remember some of it , couldn't watch it now as it would spoil the memories. However I did dip my toe into the water and watched the 1950 's bbc series "quatermass and the pit" , found it on utube. It terrified me as a kid but was still watchable in black and white. Iwas quite suprised. Would like to see the remake by the bbc of "A for andromeda " based on Fred Hoyles book of the same name.
