Watched "The Day the Earther Stood Still" with the kids tonight. The fantastic 1951 version. Somehow my 4yr son already knows aliens travel in spaceships.
I was surprised at some of the great B&W astrophotography shots right at the beginning. If I'm not mistaken:

- M17
- Triffid
- M16
Was surprised how good they are actually - presumably from Palomar or similar?
