After an excited, nervous and disappointing start to the Venus Transit due to being clouded out at my preferred location ( at a local Winery) i packed up and set up back at home.
I asked the owner for permission first to set up and after a brief chat it turned out he had a Meade 8 inch computerized scope with fiberglass dome obs
Anyway, here are my images. Most have had a brief adjustment in cs5 and the image with false colour applied had some slight wavelet adjustment in avi stack 2.....still learning the ropes with both programs.
