Thanks guys, this is my first light for the RC8. Brilliant price/performance ratio. I think it's a keeper!
I saw over ten planes fly past within a degree of the eclipsed moon (outside the camera's FOV)... but not a single one transited it. Oh well.
Peter - it was 90% cloud all afternoon, completely cleared up literally minutes before the start of the eclipse, and now there's a huge patch of cloud approaching. I'm not too worried though - I managed to capture the first half so all is good
