Fireball experience

Saw a fireball last summer.
Was out in my backyard doing a bit of observing on Jupiter.
Out of the night sky, one fireball, the size of a full moon camping from nowhere, moving very fast east to west, almost horizontal.
It was glowing amber orangy and was gone before you could say, what the heck!
The amazing thing was, there is no sound,no rumbling or any sonic boom.
To these day, I am still wondering, just what exactly, was the object, blazing it's way across the night sky in such incredible speed.
To me,it is definitely of alien origin.if it is a space rock, it must be at a considerable distance away.
