Hi David,
There is no ERF attached to the objective, so no obstruction. The diagonal is a 2" regular with a UV/IR block screwed to it to reflect that energy back avoiding overheating the optical system.
Price wise is much more cost effective than to buy an equivalent system from Lunt for example.
I am very happy with this rig.
