Thanks Dav and Jennifer,
I am really surprised it came out so well considering reading some posts on how difficult afocal imaging is.
Luckily the Vixen has an eyepiece rubber and the Canon A610 lens fits perfectly inside without touching the eyepiece glass.
I just butted the camera lens to the rubber, waited 10 seconds then clicked the button. Easy as that.
