I made a portable solar scope using a $10 Pentax screw 135 mm telephoto lens and in between the end of the lens and the uv filter I placed a small circle of bader solar film. I then attached a 25 mm eyepiece to the back end with a t adapter mount I had made up. I then used this in Bali to observe the first (for me ) venus transit, but for this one I will be at home with all my scopes. Best $10 I ever spent.
