Cool, dual function lens. Camera AND Scope ! I've been hunting around for a 'cheap' APO prime for a while now. Tried similar experiment with my 300 mm K&M and correct, ... problem is that the focus is very close to the last glass element. Hadn't though of using a Barlow to extend it.
