Nice image Paul. I just ran your data through some rountines I have and there is colour data there and plenty of it too.
I boosted the saturation up significantly around 48% and the colour bounced out.
Some selective sharpening helped with the dust lanes too.
So whatever you have going on with this colour issue I suspect it has to be some setting some where in your software that is not right. Be assured though you have good data and it contains plenty of colour.
