Thanks for your post.

This seems like a cool experiment. But before I go any futher, can you please explain the concepts:

I'm not sure of the concept, but I'll give it a shot of what I understood.

1) You wanna note down the time the 1st end of Venus touches (as in comes in front of) the Sun.
2) You then wanna note down the time when the other end of Venus touches the sun, as in fully in the Sun's sphere.
3) You then wanna note the time when the 1st end starts to get out of the other end of the Sun's sphere, as in when Venus's 1st end touches the 2nd end of the Sun
4) Then you wanna note down the time when the 2nd end of Venus touches the 2nd end of the Sun's sphere.

I hope I got this right. Sorry if its too layman.. I'm new
