Had good weather for most nights, although some misty fog rolled in later.

Best of all was Cowboy John who brought PORT to share (two nights in a row).
Also rewarding were the exclamations of AWE from those seeing a beautifully detailed Saturn for the first time through my modest little 10" DOB (now highly modified).
Saturday was great right through till 3:30 when I finally succumbed to the cold and hit the sack.
It was so clear I could even pick Galaxies through my 9x50 view finder !!!

We really did dine like Kings.
Sorry we had to settle for Apple Crumble as there were no Apple Charlotte at the Bakehouse.
Pleased to spend time with Chris and Andy later in the week.

Dammit! Astropanel said 50-75% cloud cover for Saturday night, which is mainly why I cancelled.
