ED. then again..after another look it looks ok...I always get the same impression when I see shots like this, when the foreground is well lit and the Milky Way so obvious, it somehow looks unatural..but it's probably just a mental issue on my part

Both are single captures. I like the challenge of capturing a scene like this in camera. I'm with you though, it looks a tad unnatural because our eyes never see it like that.
