14mm First Light

Hi all,
After seeing some very good results from others using this lens and seeing what others thought of it http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ad.php?t=89979 I forked out yet more money on yet another camera lens recently. It's a Samyang/Rokinon/Pro Optic/Vivitar/Bower/Walimax 14mm F/2.8 lens. I was particularly attracted to the apparent lack of coma at the edge of frame when the lens is wide open. No more of those nasty "seagulls" in my fixed tripod widefield images. My copy of this lens is better on the left of frame than the right but even on the right it blows my other, at least double the cost, wide angle lenses out of the water. And WOW it is so wide on a full frame camera. I actually even cropped a bit out of the right and bottom of this image to remove some of the road I was standing on. Not much thought went into the composition of this shot. Just seeing what it can do.
Cheers
Greg
