The Beatles were one the first commercial bands that got promoted in a massive way, they had the looks and the sound even if was only 3 chords, The best music in the whole world only needs 3 chords LONG LIVE BLUES real music and I agree when they say "Clapton is god"

BTW Clapton got the nick name slow hand because when he used to brake a string the crowd used to slow clap while he fixed it, which I've read was alot. I guess I'm as passionate about Clapton as you are about the Beatles. What we have in common is total dislike in modern music, but i do like the odd guitar driven modern songs.
