It might.

Reducer/correctors are essentially designed to suit particular lens configurations and need to be placed in the correct position to get full correction. However they will all generally give a wider FOV for small area chips without noticeable distortion or vignetting. I think that camera chip may be too large for satisfactory results but there is no harm in trying if you have the reducer / corrector.
