Good morning everyone and once again, thanks very much for the feedback.

Steve - if this were a high resolution image, then I doubt that 6 hours a night would be achievable, but at 3.5 asp, you can image a little bit lower than you normally would.

NGC 6188 is rising and at 50 degs altitude by 10pm and at 50 degs altitude and setting by 4am at my latitude - that is a good 6 hours of data!

of course, NB images should never really be discussed in terms of 'minutes of exposure' but in terms of hours of exposure, particularly at longer focal lengths.

How much is enough? When SNR is significantly greater than 1.
