Hi Morton,
Don't worry, there is a pit toilet, and it is not too bad (usually).
The shovel can come in handy up at bretti to relocate cow manure that may be dropped near your camping spot.
Or to drop a load of soil over them.

And re facilities, the pit toilets are the only facility.
There is a fresh water stream we use water from for showers, but best to bring your own supply of drinking water.
Oh, and there are garbage bins supplied.
The rest is what you take with you.
