Robby's right Paul the mod is not that hard to do, the glass cutting now thats another matter :-))
If you want to do it let me know and come down for a drive, it will take a couple of hours maybe 3, I can supervise or i can do it for you whichever, no guarantees though :-))

Robby I found the CWB to be somewhat lacking with the 350D so I bought a X-Nite CC1 filter, fits on the camera lens and gives me perfect daytime shots the same as the unmodded camera.
cost me around $105.00US but worth every cent.
The only downside is that if you use different camera lens you may need different size filters unless you use stepup or stepdown rings, both my lens where 58mm so I bought the one size filter.
