Yes!!! By total fluke. I stepped outside for one min to see if the clouds might be clearing and seen a very bright satellite popping out through the breaks in the clouds. so i figure that must have been it!!!
Seemed to be coming from nth west and yes heading the sth east.
i only caught it for about 10 secs!!!
