Thank u all for your generous comments, i am pleased with my first ever photo of a planet after reading your comments. I need to work on my focus and maybe use diffrent settings on camera perhaps higer res and lower fram rate. Looking at my current avi's they are 320x"" at 60fps. I might even try the Neximage i have on loan..
I had two nights after many rany nights, and after seeing all the others saturn i had to have a look. I missed the first clear night, i thing it was better seeing on Friday night. But i was to tired post work, so went for it on Saturday night though i do belive the seeing was not as good. Also i was imaging at around approx 12pm and at this point Saturn was only about 10 degrees above my neighbours house. Not a good spot after a hot day, need to wait till latter when its more to the west and nearer its peak.
Also may go shopping for an afocal adapter, been looking at the Williams Optics ones. It would be easier with both my hands free for tracking. The most excellent feature of the A610 is the tiltable/rotatable screen.
Thanks all for your kind comments. I have the long weekend coming up to try praying for clear skies.
Tahnks and Regards

PS: now to dig out those first moon avi's i got a while back with the neximage, have not had time to process them yet. Problem is i took lots of strips but just let the moon slip by instead of trying to track. I think if i chop up the avi's i might be able to do a bit of stacking in small sections of the avi.
