Nice work Matt!
The sequence shows the flare well, and its a nice view of the new AR. I captured it yesterday morning but the reasults due to the seeing weren't worth persevering with.
Have you tried imaging at slightly different times of the day? I find about 10am is usually best for me give or take an hour or so. I get nothing but slush after noon. I'd love to try solar imaging on the west coast... maybe less thermals after lunch...
