- yr.no - really detailed weather forecast running off the European model
- teamviewer - used to control the PC in the observatory
- Solar Monitor - aurora alerts
- CamViewer - used to watch IP Foscams in the observatory
- stellarium
- Sunrise Free - has solar noon time as well
- 3D Sun
- Oz Weather
