This is where DPP comes into its own when using Canon lenses -- it removes any and all trace of CA. The defaults work out of the box, but, you have the ability to tweak settings.

Thanks once again and thanks for the critique H. I really appreciate it.

Wanting to learn and improve as much as possible. I'll see what I can do about that CA. The only reason I was not using my 5D Mk II and Canon 20mm Lens for this was that I didn't want to expose it to the sea mist I was getting at the time. So I stuck the old setup on the tripod instead. I love DPP for intial editing of my images. I'll see what it can do with this 3rd party image or as you say I might be able to cure it in PS.
