Here's another image Iv'e been working on from last week.
In the region of the tarantula, centred around NGC 2074,"CRICKEY" what a complicated region of the sky !!
Iv'e been working on this since last thiusday, so many variations Iv'e come up with. Initially tried to get more red in the nebulae, but it looked terrible!
So I stuck with enhancining the colour from the camera, I am pleased to keep the star colour in this one.
This will be a good region to keep practising processing skills in photo shop.
Telescope 8” f/4 astrograph on a HEQ Pro 5 mount, orion mini guider.
Unmodded Canon 1100D at ISO 800.
21 x 300 sec subs ISO 800.
11 dark frames, 9 flat frames and 9 bias.
Stacked in DSS and post process in Phototshop.
Two images, one with a little more contrast.
