This setup is also great for anyone wishing to get into astrophotography. I've attached some pictures taken in recent weeks/months with my 5-year old unmodified Nikon D80 to show what this telescope/mount can really do. All images were taken from my backyard without correct polar alignment (I just point it roughly south
) using a piggybacked ST80 for guiding.
The first 4 images are from my 8" Newt for sale, the last 4 images were taken with my 80ED but also shows the capabilities of the mount for tracking.
