Eta Carina Narrowband

Tis the season. This is my in between image whilst collecting data for NGC6357. It still needs a lot more data and I need to get RGB for it too; though pretty happy.

Learnt something quite new though. I cannot use my luminence filter to focus when imaging in narrow band. I am going to need to focus in each filter and collect data in that filter only. This would seem quite elementary but I have found that most of my filters are par focal up until now. It seems the OIII and SII are not quite there. The slight defocus has resulted in slightly elongated stars (which look like field rotation) in the lower corners where there is some slight degree of tilt (very small and usually not really visible) which shows up when the focus is not 100%. This is purely the result of using the reducer which demands very good focus at f5.76
