Unitron 16mm Konig "Zebra" 1.25" eyepiece

Hi all,

I'm parting with my beautiful Unitron 16mm Konig "Zebra" eyepiece. The Konig design is still used today in many binocular eyepieces and even many contemporary "widefield" eyepieces. Probably best suited to slower focal ratio telescopes.

This "Zebra" gives around 70 degree field of view. While not noting if fully multi-coated, the image it provides is superb. It gives much better contrast than many newer eyepiece designs with fully multi-coated optics.

The optics are in excellent condition with only minimal dust. Coatings are intact and not damaged. Brass barel shows the expected scuffing for an eyepiece of its age but the chrome plating is intact and not flaking.

Barrel cap and bolt case included.

Asking $115 for this rare bird, including postage in Australia.
