A meteor crossed the sky French evening of 25 January 2008 at approximately 6:15 p.m.: many testimonials on the whole territory attest to a falling asteroid fragment in thenorth of the Herault and the sound of the explosions has was heard after the explosion of the fireball into four pieces. The two photos taken of the phenomenon since Ganges andVilleneuve les Avignon in Gard show a persistent drag light for several minutes finally broken and dispersed by currents and winds in altitude.

So I decided to go to this place ! Using Google Earth, I defined my area of research :

I have not found anything on the ground but at the same time, I knew it because there is little chance of finding fragments because this fall is based from testimonies that do not provide the precise location of the fall. In addition, no fragments were found summersago. Nevertheless, beautiful landscapes were present ! :
