Because this is pretty much what we saw through (your pre-loved) SW10" last night at the Pony Club. We were using Dave's (Racecar) Ethos 13 with a TV 3x barlow. (close to 300x mag.) Pretty much the limit as I understand it.
But the visual image was similar to your shot (just not quite as much definition or colour in the banding).
