If you are living near a beach, make sure your storage area is pretty dry - the Dobs have chipboard bases which are like blotting paper until they turn into weetbix
A shower cap on each end will ensure the mirror doesn't get too salty - remember to take it off the end when in use!
Star hopping is not hard if your skies are reasonably dark - light pollution doesn't stop you seeing stuff, it just turns the sky into rice pudding in which you're seeking rice.
