Yes the 10" would be better in most ways and mine has very good optics, as some have commented when viewing through it.
But at the time portability was what i was looking for.
Does not matter now, Observatory is on the drawing board.
I hope your scope goes to a good home as the Mewlon 180 is a very good scope indeed.
