The Barred Spiral Galaxy, M83 the Southern Pinwheel. A neighbouring Galaxy only 15million Lightyears away which is claimed to have a double Nuclei ?
Taken Leyburn Mar 25th, the Bob'servatory, Heq5p mount, SW ED100, F/9, Stock Dslr, Autoguided.
Image: 6x2min + 6x6mins stacked seperately in RegistaX, Exposure blending & processed in CS3, Slightly cropped !
Hope its worth a squizz as my gear is only very basic, but an OK result for me & a cheap scope,
Processing has brought out what faint stuff ok and the exposure blending shows the core details which is/was basically the intension
