I just spent an hour setting all my stuff up, the eq, the meade, power for the laptop, i was going to take award winning pictures...No sooner had i got it all sorted, i looked up...and dam...where'd those ****** clouds come from....gggrrrlllll, had time toa take a quick peaky boo at saturn...and you guys were right, my 8" resolves the casini division easily..i only just got a collimating tool and collimated 2 days ago...wow....what a differnce...any newbie's with newtonian's out there wondering what to buy...a collimator...hands down...(and a red dot finder) lol...thanx for all your help fellas(and lady's)
