Yeah, I often hear folks saying full res doesn't present well on a monitor. That's nonsense of course. Your monitor is irrelevant. You can zoom out in your browser to fill the screen with the image if you so choose
(<cntrl> minus>. Scaling down to fit on a monitor is a great way to disguise poor guiding, poor seeing, poor optics and poor processing though. Besides, scaling down hides the glorious detail that's there to be
appreciated! Why would anyone want to do that?
Others might say they're afraid of their image being stolen. I can understand that, but there are ways of protecting your image and no one is likely to be able to make a million bucks from astrophotography! If they can I'd like to know about it!
