I have just finished reading this book. It is an interesting read and I have learnt a lot about the upcoming Transit of Venus. I think we are all hoping for clear skies on the 6th of June.
One question though....
On page 74, the telescope made by James Short is referred to as a reflector. It looks like a refractor to me.
Can anyone who has this book confirm the type of telescope shown in the photo?
