Currently I have an old black Skywatcher EQ6 (one of Houghy's old machines I bought of him back in about 2006
) with a
v2.5a hand Controller.
At camp when the mount was playing up (it is fixed now) I tried Daniels v3 hand controller and apart from some stupid start up questions on his, the 2 hand controllers did exactly the same job.
I know the v3 and onwards is Flash Upgradable, but what is there to upgrade. The v2.5a seems to do everything I need it to.
So my question is:
What would be the benefit (if any) of upgrading my hand controller to v3?
Am I missing out on something?
