Thanks for that, I was a Junior Member in the early to mid 60's, was around 14 or so then, I had actually forgotten the location of the old site.
I also remember another old observatory over in the Bexley area, it, from memory had an old Cooke mounting and a 6" Cooke refractor, don't know what happened to that, I think the person's name was Mashman.
