Guys,
I would remind you that there is a exponential curve of weight, size and usability which says the bigger the scope the more difficult it is to transport, set-up, use and generally there's much less observing ( with amateurs) with big scopes than there is with say 10" sizes.

I speak from my own and others experience with 333 and 450 dobbies!

It's a big extra mouth to feed!!!
My base board is 10Kg, the rocker 18Kg, the mirror 14Kg, the mirror box 18Kg etc etc, all up about 80-85 Kg... it all adds up!!!!!
