I have made my Son's Primary School aware of the Venus Transit. The school has been entered in the Surveyors Competition to win a solar projection scope.

This is a great chance to inspire some kids to look at the bigger picture. It covers all bases from the education point of view. Science, History and Maths. Or it can be as simple as enjoying the spectacle of watching a planet move across the face of our Sun.
