Hi There,
Well I use very different software for sharpening.
If the seeing is great then you do not have to use a lot, or you over sharpen the image and that really does not look good.
But when the seeing isn't all that great you sharpen the Hell out of you recordings and try to make it look good with some blur after.

I use the Registax Wavelets (with great seeing, the wavelets sharpening should be more then enough already !) then Gimp or PS, and sometimes ImagesPlus.. It all depends and most of the time I use then all and see which one gives the best result without any artifacts...
