Thanks, yes the tilt is there unfortunately. The culprit is the Takahashi CAA. I have tried to tighten the CAA screws but to no avail, still there is slop.
The CAA unfortunately cannot handle the weight of the STL+8CFW+Clement Focuser no matter how much you tighten those screws.
I use the TAKometer with the CAA for rotation and I have finally decided to remove the CAA completely and replace it with a Pyxis 3" rotator.
That will have to wait for the next maintenance trip to Arkaroola
Until then, tilt it is
