Hi Guys and thanks for your words of appreciation, I almost gave up and this image was generated from my very last AVI for the day!
@Marc – I mainly use AVIStack as for some reason, on my 4 year old Win XP Pro SP3 PC, Registax seems to a little unstable and I haven’t been able to find a reliable work around.
If I have data that requires a little customised massaging, I use AVIStack V1.8 on a per AVI basis, but if I have good data, I have found the Batch Processing Mode of AVIStack V2.0 to be very good. On my PC I can process around 10 AVI’s overnight, to find the images ready the next morning for touching in Photoshop.
I can get Registax 5 & 6 to work very well on AVI’s of Sirius, limited to less than 1 GB, but seem to hit snags as soon as I try a 2500 frame AVI of around 1.9 GB.
